Greener Forward — a wheel crossing a meadow of wildflowers
Case study — TENWAYS · Greener Forward

Every e-bike says green.
This one lets you see it.

One visual system, five touchpoints — website, Eurobike, CES, brand film, launch event — for Europe's fastest-growing e-bike brand, in the year before its IPO filing.

The context

A €4,999 bicycle, in a market that just crashed.

The European e-bike market spent two years in a brutal shakeout — former category darlings bankrupt, liquidation sales cratering prices, tariffs on Chinese e-bikes near 80%. TENWAYS held its ground: 50,000+ CGO800S sold, top five in the Benelux commuter segment, 1,400+ retail partners. In February 2026 it filed for a Hong Kong IPO.

In the year before filing, the brand undertook a full-year expression upgrade around "Greener Forward." Our job: build the visual system, then deploy it across five very different contexts — without it becoming five different campaigns.

The idea

Don't explain green. Make it visible.

In Europe every e-bike brand talks sustainability — the product is a green mobility device, so saying "eco-friendly" says almost nothing. Consumers don't lack the knowledge that you're green. They lack the feeling. Most brands respond by being louder: emission stats, certifications, tree counters. Read, then forgotten.

Greener Forward went the other way: a nature-imagery visual system built around the product. The bike is the same bike — but every frame wraps it in branches, water, flowers, light through foliage. Not a tree placed next to the bike as a prop. The product looking like it grew from nature. Once that root existed, every touchpoint grew from it.

The system

One system, five contexts.

Each touchpoint faces a different audience, setting, and attention state. Consistency isn't putting the same image in five places — it's making five different experiences point to the same place.

01
Website
Quiet browsing, minutes of attention. Product pages became immersive exploration — structure, color, lighting states, live accessory configuration.
02
Eurobike & CES
People walk, they don't stop. Three seconds. A radar-tracked screen that turns passersby into figures of vine, water, and flowers.
03
Brand film
A product film without the product as protagonist. Light, plants, water, wind — a manifesto made visual.
04
Annual launch event
Dealers, not consumers. The same language on stage — the repetition itself is the signal: this brand knows what it's doing.
01 — Website

A €5,000 bike isn't bought from one photo.

Cargo One and CGO009 product pages went from spec-image-buy to interactive: full structure exploration, color switching, lighting states, and for Cargo One a live configurator — box cover, stem angle, turn signals, seatpost. Plus AR: scan, and the bike stands beside you. The nature system lives here through color temperature, light quality, and pacing — the same world as the film, not botanicals forced onto a product page.

CGO009 page — Vogue in Motion, motor, belt drive, torque sensor modules Take a Look with AR — the CGO009 rendered beside a real person
02 — Eurobike & CES

Walk past, and you're already in it.

A booth on the main aisle of Europe's largest cycling show. The opposite problem to the website: nobody browses. So a radar-tracking screen reads passersby in real time and turns their silhouettes into figures of woven vine, flowing water, blooming flowers. Walk, and it walks with you. Stop, and it turns to wave — revealing a line of brand messaging.

Zero participation required, three to five people at once, each a different element. Passersby physically enact "human and nature becoming one" — the same metaphor waiting for them on the website and in the film. Redeployed at CES.

03 — Brand film

A product film without the product.

Most e-bike films are performance demos or sunny lifestyle. This one is dominated by light, plants, water, wind. A wheel crosses green terrain — not showcasing the bike, showing a state of being. Not what's good about the bike; what the brand believes in.

04 — Annual launch event

Brand conviction, for dealers.

Dealers don't need convincing the bike is good — they need convincing the brand is worth continued investment. Stage design and product principles — "Smooth & Light as Wind Whisper," "Colors from Natural Palette" — in the same language they'd just seen at the show and on the site.

The invisible asset

Recognition answers "can they identify you." It doesn't answer "will they pay €2,000 more."

More than one award-winning European e-bike brand went under in the last three years. What supports a premium is something else: trust that forms after repeated encounters — the aggregate judgment a user holds after every touchpoint adds up. Invisible, but an asset, convertible to pricing power like a supply chain or a patent portfolio — and the one thing a competitor can't copy.

Greener Forward ran for all of 2025. Next year there'll be a new theme. What stays is the system underneath, and the method of growing every touchpoint from one root. The theme is an annual skin. The system is an appreciating asset.
